About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Functions as part of the hemodialysis health care team providing safe and effective dialysis therapy for patients under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse
- Performs vascular access evaluation pre-treatment and records evaluations
- Initiates dialysis treatment according to prescribed orders
- Monitors patients’ response to dialysis therapy and provides interventions
- Documents all relevant patient treatment information accurately
- Conducts all tasks necessary for preparation for dialysis treatment and maintains clean environment
Requirements
What you’ll need- Graduated from an accredited nursing program within the past 12 months
- Previous patient care experience in a hospital setting or a related facility preferred
- Required to obtain nursing license within 90 days of employment
