About the role
- Develop market intelligence and macroeconomic projections for strategic planning
- Execute sourcing plans in line with category strategies
- Identify cost effectiveness and optimization opportunities
- Lead procurement sourcing/optimization initiatives from a project management perspective
- Build strong collaboration with supply chain stakeholders and third-party vendors
- Drive source-to-contract procurement excellence by implementing best practices
- Develop strong analytics internally to drive cost transparency and cost benchmarking
Requirements
- 5-7 years in procurement/category management in an international environment
- Good understanding of freight and 3PL market
- Warehousing and distribution processes
- Technical expertise on pharma logistics including freight, warehousing and final mile distribution
- Basic regulatory knowledge for multiple countries
- STEM/Economics graduate preferred
- Teamwork, self-responsibility, negotiation skills, and communication skills
- Proficient in data analysis, financial analysis, and office literacy
