About the role
- Assist, develop, and conduct monthly audits for the Revenue Cycle staff
- Utilize established procedures to provide analytical and administrative support in compliance with company policies and procedures
- Provide guidance and leadership to ensure performance aligns with company goals and objectives
- Conduct staff audit reviews of healthcare billing and collection processes under close supervision
- Conduct research and evidence-based audits; identify areas where business standards are being met
- Review and audit insurance verification and registration, payment posting, and accounts receivable follow-up
- Report data findings or trends and communicate findings to Manager
- Build stable working relationships internally and maintain strict confidentiality
- Escalate issues to supervisor/manager and refer to senior staff as needed
- Assist with various projects and perform additional department/location-specific duties as assigned
- Largely sedentary role requiring use of typical office equipment; most work completed in a corporate office environment
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required
- 0 - 2 years' related experience
- Proficient in PC skills with strong Microsoft Office knowledge
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Attention to detail
- Positive attitude and team-oriented approach
