Manage and oversee the time and attendance and payroll process
Ensure timely and accurate processing of complex payroll, tax filling, and reporting
Maintain the payroll system
Review payroll runs prior to submission
Prepare/review all payroll related reconciliations
Primary contact for payroll service provider
Partner with HR team to oversee human resources activities
Manage payroll staff
Hire, train, coach, mentor, and develop payroll team members
Oversee expatriate assignments regarding pay issues
Identify and recommend changes and/or process improvements
Document and implement changes as required
Assist with 401K review/audit and benefit plan audits
Responsible for payroll audits to ensure compliance with various laws

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business required
5+ years’ experience in a similar position
3+ years of previous experience managing employees
In-depth knowledge of federal and state payroll laws and IRS regulations pertaining to payroll compliance
Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) is preferred
Experience working with Time & Attendance payroll and HRMS systems
Experience in working in a publicly traded company is strongly preferred
Proficient with Microsoft Office software
