About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and maintain backend solutions using C# and .NET
- Write, optimize, and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and database structures
- Analyze and improve database performance (indexing, query tuning, execution plans)
- Work with datasets to support reporting, integrations, and business logic
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve application and data-related issues
- Contribute to system design and continuous improvement of development practices
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3–5 years of experience in software development
- Strong working knowledge of: C# .NET SQL (joins, subqueries, performance basics)
- Experience working with data-driven or backend-heavy applications
- Understanding of database design, indexing, and query optimization fundamentals
- Exposure to front-end technologies (React, Angular, etc.) is an asset, but not required
- Ability to work independently on assigned tasks while collaborating with a team
- Strong communication skills, with some exposure to client or stakeholder interaction
