About the role

  • Responsible for bringing on and maintaining a book of business
  • Develop new business through research, prospecting, and qualifying new opportunities
  • Increase market share within assigned territory and achieve budget for volume, revenue, and profit
  • Successfully close new business and onboard new clients
  • Maintain contact with clients to ensure satisfaction
  • Work with pricing team on client pricing strategies

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2/3 years plus of sales experience in the freight forwarding industry
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of organization and time management skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems
  • Ability to bring current clients (no non-compete)
