About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Partner with our CTO and their leadership team, along with additional departments which are aligned with Technology
- Proactively highlight opportunities for efficiency, evaluating value for money across all cost lines
- Seek continuous improvement in reporting, finding areas for automation and opportunities to create self-serve dashboards in Looker
- Own the annual budget for your area along with monthly reporting against budget
- Forecast headcount spend in partnership with department heads in order to drive hiring decisions
- Forecast vendor level spend, track renewal dates and run supplier negotiations
- Prepare models for business cases, projecting costs and impact for new products, new suppliers and new operations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with 5+ years of relevant experience including and 3+ years as a Finance Business Partner.
- Experience of working in the financial services or technology industries
- Experience of business partnering with a Technology function
- A proactive, self-motivated problem solver
- An effective communicator with the ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the company
- Highly numerate
