About the role

  • Work on customer screening/transaction monitoring/trade surveillance alerts.
  • Conduct and where necessary escalate suspicious activity investigations.
  • Support the Client Admin team with complex KYC queries escalated to the Financial Crime Team.
  • Identify and monitor high-risk customers.
  • Provide the business with support as we scale up and grow.

Requirements

  • Sound knowledge of financial services and operating within rules and regulations.
  • Awareness of the UK’s financial crime regulatory framework.
  • Experience conducting financial market surveillance, particularly around Insider Dealing, in accordance with the UK Market Abuse Regulation (MAR).
  • Good written and spoken English.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Good IT literacy.
  • Experience in scaling up processes in line with business growth.
  • Exposure ideally to:
  • - Conducting market surveillance investigations.
  • - Conducting transaction monitoring - AML and Fraud transaction monitoring and KYC investigations.
  • - Identifying and Escalating suspicious activity.
  • - Processing screening alerts.
  • - Conducting enhanced due diligence.
