About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the growing Water and Wastewater Treatment Practice across the West Texas region
  • Manage, lead, and support teams of engineers delivering water and wastewater treatment solutions for municipal clients in West Texas
  • Work on treatment projects throughout the south central and southeastern United States
  • Produce quality technical work
  • Manage and develop staff
  • Grow client relationships
  • Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with internal and external clients and regulatory agency representatives
  • Oversee analysis, design, construction administration, and preparation of technical reports, plans, and specifications
  • Support water treatment, wastewater treatment, reuse, and resource recovery facility projects
  • Manage project teams and coordinate internal team workload and sales efforts
  • Manage complex, multidisciplinary treatment plant projects
  • Perform water or wastewater process design, treatment plant civil/structural/mechanical/electrical design, treatment process studies, and construction contract administration and management

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering
  • 4+ years of related water and wastewater treatment experience, with emphasis on plant process evaluation, design and construction
  • Preference for municipal treatment experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong presentation and sales skills
  • Texas Professional Engineer (PE) license, or ability to become licensed in Texas within 6 months
  • Preferred: Master’s degree in Civil Engineering (concentration in Environmental) or Environmental Engineering
