About the role
- Serve as a design lead and project manager for various county and municipal roadway projects
- Client communication and reporting responsibilities
- Management of deadlines and project deliverables
- Project execution and quality management
- Agency coordination, scope and fee development, project scheduling, and tracking of activities
- Serving as the technical lead in organizing and executing a program of project designs
- Training younger staff in sound design practices
- Assisting in pursuing future project opportunities, including events and networking activities
- Leading and managing the analysis, design, preparation of plans, specifications, estimates and technical reports
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- 4+ years of experience in roadway design with at least 3+ years of progressive project management experience
- Texas Professional Engineering license or the ability to become licensed within 6 months
- Strong technical skills in roadway and drainage design
- Experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D
