About the role
- Take ownership of projects, managing client communication, deadlines, deliverables, budgets, and ensuring top-notch quality
- Mentor and inspire by guiding and training junior engineers
- Contribute to the expansion of transportation practice by assisting in business development activities
- Leverage technical prowess to lead the analysis, design, and preparation of plans, specifications, estimates, and reports
- Cultivate strong client relationships, becoming a trusted advisor and ensuring client satisfaction
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or comparable engineering or applied science degree)
- 6+ years of experience in roadway design
- 2+ years of progressive project management experience
- Texas Professional Engineering license (or the ability to become licensed in Texas within 6 months)
- Strong technical skills in roadway and drainage design
- Experience with MicroStation and Open Roads/Open Roads Designer
