About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the senior hands-on IoT field engineer bridging the IoT Architecture and execution
- Lead field deployments proving architectural patterns and providing feedback
- Productize proven patterns into repeatable practices for scaling
- Build advanced analytics, pipelines, and real-time dashboards
- Drive efficiency through tooling, automation, and runbooks
- Mentor engineers and act as senior escalation point for issues
- Handle root cause analysis on complex incidents
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or mining-related Engineering discipline, or Bachelor’s degree with additional experience
- Intermediate understanding of IoT infrastructure, cloud technologies, and data concepts
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in IoT solutions development, implementation, and integration projects
- Previous experience in an Engineering, System Administration or Technology Support role
- Customer service-oriented with good organizational and interpersonal skills
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to influence architectural decisions and mentor engineers across the team
