About the role
- Plan, direct and ensure all aspects of integrated materials storage, receipt, issue, ordering, inventory, container management, and requirement definitions for capital project related materials are executed in a consistent manner globally.
- Oversee individual project materials organizations to ensure project objectives of safety, scope, cost, and schedule are met.
- Participate in the development of project Materials Execution Plans for each project, outlining strategies, processes, and staff requirements
- Develop consistent reports of material status for projects
- Participate in logistics planning and execution, including packing, inspections, and transit of capital goods
- Develop tracking controls systems to ensure efficient execution of projects
- Collaborate with Global Supply Chain leads to ensure compliance to site requirements, and optimum utilization of resources and staff
- Ensure critical materials and supplies are accurately and safely stored and issued to construction personnel as needed
- Oversee effectiveness of project materials staff and report to project management improvement opportunities
- Oversee system interface (receiving, storing, issuing) accuracy to ensure compliance and excellent material accuracy
- Perform other duties as requested
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED and fourteen (14) years experience in inventory management, systems & project management and analysis projects required, OR Bachelor's degree in Business, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related discipline and ten (10) years combined experience in inventory management, system & project management and analysis projects required, OR Master's degree in Business, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related discipline and eight (8) years combined experience in inventory management, system & project management and analysis projects required
