💰 $90,000 - $124,500 per year
About the role
- Review, investigate and develop appropriate recommendations regarding assigned Engineering projects.
- Serve as Project Manager or Technical Advisor, on small-to-medium site construction, expansion or modification projects.
- Evaluate and administer contracts with vendors for the provision of services and equipment.
- Collaborate in site strategic planning and budgeting efforts for designated Engineering areas.
- Assist in the development and evaluation of Appropriation Request (AR) for capital funding.
- Perform other duties as required.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED and seven (7) years of Engineering experience, OR Bachelor's Degree in a Scientific discipline and three (3) years of Engineering experience
- Able to research and analyze information of considerable difficulty and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
- Skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- Preferred Qualifications: Project Management experience, AutoCad Drafting experience, Mining and/or Heavy Industrial Construction/Maintenance experience, Experience in project development activities (drawing review, scope development)
