About the role
- Under close supervision assist in the installation, support and maintenance of Information Technology infrastructure, Communications, Mine Fleet and End User Support
- Assist with installation and support of computers, peripheral equipment, and mobile devices
- Assist with installation and support of networking technologies, including but not limited to Network Switches and Wireless Access Points
- Assist with installation and support of Mine Fleet on-board IT hardware and 2-way radio systems
- Assist with installation and support of other IT infrastructure including but not limited to Optical Fiber, Ethernet cabling, Cameras, field devices and Access Control Systems
- Actively participates in safety and environmental programs and other programs determined by management
- Perform other duties as required
Requirements
- One Year (1) Experience: Mining, Manufacturing, Industrial, Operations, Electronics, Electrical or Instrumentation
- Demonstrated computational skills
- High School diploma or GED
- Associates Degree in Information technology or related field
- A+ or Network+ Certification
- Ability to understand and apply verbal and written work and safety-related instructions and procedures given in English
- Ability to communicate in English with respect to job assignments, job procedures, and applicable safety standards
