About the role
- Assemble raw footage and transfer/upload to a computer
- Analyze and follow a script, screenplay or outline when editing
- Input sound to enhance footage, including music and voice-overs
- Add graphics to enhance footage
- Digitally splice film and synchronize into one rough cut
- Improve and correct lighting and coloring
- Work closely with directors to present final product
Requirements
- Video editing skills
- Proficiency in editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro)
- Knowledge of color correction and audio enhancement techniques
- Ability to work collaboratively with directors and producers
