Key responsibilities & impact

Provides professional nursing care and oversees all clinical operations for the assigned region.
Serves as a clinical leadership position with supervision and training of nursing staff.
Ensures compliance with NYSDOH regulations and agency policies.
Participates in Department of Health surveys and site visits.
Provides direct patient care as needed and instructs Personal Care Aides (PCAs).

Requirements

What you’ll need

NYS Licensed and currently registered as a Registered Professional Nurse.
Graduate of an approved school of nursing and holds a Diploma, Associate or Baccalaureate Degree.
Minimum of one (1) year of home care nursing experience.
RN education or staff training experience preferred.
Prior supervisory, management, or regional oversight experience strongly preferred.
Strong clinical knowledge, nursing judgment, and leadership skills.
Demonstrates knowledge of NYSDOH regulations governing Licensed Home Care Services Agencies.
Demonstrated ability to supervise, train, and evaluate nursing and paraprofessional staff.
2+ years of Home Care Nursing experience demonstrating comprehensive understanding of homecare complexities and challenges.
Effective communication skills (written and verbal).
Proficient utilizing technology and systems to enhance operational efficiency.
