About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provides professional nursing care and oversees all clinical operations for the assigned region.
Serves as a clinical leadership position responsible for the supervision, training, and ongoing development of nursing staff.
Ensures consistent implementation of Plans of Care and adherence to physician orders.
Participates in and supports NYSDOH surveys, audits, and site visits.
Provides care and services according to scope and standards of Nursing Practice.
Develops, implements, evaluates, and revises Plans of Care.
Supervises, mentors, and trains new and current nursing staff.

Requirements

What you’ll need

NYS Licensed and currently registered as a Registered Professional Nurse.
Graduate of an approved school of nursing and holds a Diploma, Associate or Baccalaureate Degree.
Minimum of one (1) year of home care nursing experience.
RN education or staff training experience preferred.
Prior supervisory, management, or regional oversight experience strongly preferred.
Strong clinical knowledge, nursing judgment, and leadership skills.
Demonstrates knowledge of NYSDOH regulations governing Licensed Home Care Services Agencies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to provide clear direction and resolve issues.
2+ years of Home Care Nursing experience demonstrating comprehensive understanding of homecare complexities and challenges.
Strong assessment, clinical and documentation skills, essential for ensuring high-quality patient care and regulatory compliance.
