About the role

  • shape the national and European visibility of the German Chips Competence Centre
  • actively make the G3C's offerings visible through storytelling and targeted communication
  • create and distribute press releases; write content for the G3C website, the G3C LinkedIn channel, and the G3C newsletter
  • monitor the media and digital visibility of the G3C; analyze reach, trends, and communication impact

Requirements

  • Completed university degree or vocational training in communications, public relations, media, marketing, or journalism
  • Basic technical understanding (e.g., microelectronics, semiconductor technologies, engineering, or physics) is an advantage
  • Several years of professional experience in scientific, technology, or corporate communications, ideally in an environment with European or research-policy relevance (e.g., EU projects, research consortia, innovation networks)
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English
  • Solid experience with and confident use of content management systems (including WordPress and AEM)
  • Practical experience with graphic and layout software (e.g., Photoshop, InDesign, etc.) desirable
  • Independent and proactive working style
  • Willingness to travel to trade shows or events (including, if necessary, weekends) across Germany and Europe
