About the role
- As the person responsible for social media and video production, you will translate our research into compelling content for digital platforms and ensure visibility through visuals, audio and storytelling.
- Manage and develop the institute’s social media presence with a focus on LinkedIn
- Set topics and maintain a publication schedule for the overall presentation of the Fraunhofer IWU
- Plan, implement and evaluate targeted social media campaigns
- Coordinate topics, texts and graphics with the relevant departments
- Create and post-produce accompanying graphics, photos and videos
- Publish content on relevant platforms, monitor performance and derive optimization measures
- Conceive, plan and produce video formats for internal and external communications (e.g. image films, interviews, explainer videos and social media clips)
- Independently carry out video shoots and post-produce video material
- Prepare and adapt video material for different channels and target groups
- Develop and implement creative visual and narrative concepts in coordination with specialist departments
- Ensure compliance with quality, brand and design standards
- Coordinate external service providers for video productions
- Maintain and archive video assets
- Manage the Fraunhofer IWU YouTube channel including publishing and administration of video content
- Advise specialist departments on the conception and design of digital communication formats such as videocasts and podcasts as well as the institute blogs (kognitive-produktion.de and fraunhofer-zukunftsfabrik.de)
Requirements
- University degree in media/communications or a comparable qualification
- Experience in corporate communications and PR or event areas
- Knowledge of modern communication channels
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Adobe Express and MS Office applications
- Organizational talent and enthusiasm for researching diverse topics and developing them strategically
- Independent working style, creativity, teamwork and strong communication skills
- Very good German and good English skills, both written and spoken
- Willingness to undertake occasional one-day business trips
