  • You assist in drafting and negotiating Material Transfer Agreements (MTAs) as well as Letters of Intent / Memoranda of Understanding (LOIs / MOUs).
  • You draft and maintain contracts for Fraunhofer ITMP that relate to our daily research operations.
  • You handle export control and related legal questions arising from research projects at Fraunhofer ITMP.
  • In addition, you contribute to the implementation, monitoring and optimization of internal processes.

Requirements

  • Successfully completed law studies and successful Second State Examination (qualification as a fully qualified lawyer).
  • Professional experience in contract law and pharmaceutical law, preferably with a focus on clinical trials or the manufacture of medicinal products and medical devices.
  • Ideally basic knowledge of data protection, export control and public procurement law.
  • Confident manner when dealing with our industry partners and enjoyment in advising our scientists.
  • Interest in and willingness to work into complex scientific and technical subjects.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong negotiation ability in German and English.
Benefits

  • Support in obtaining the Syndikuszulassung (in-house counsel accreditation).
  • Excellent professional and personal development through a wide range of internal training programs.
  • Independent, responsible work with flexible arrangements.
  • 30 days of annual leave plus Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve as additional days off.
  • Personal pension provision (VBL) and other public-sector benefits, e.g. an annual special payment.
  • Capital-forming benefits (Vermögenswirksame Leistungen).
  • Subsidy for the Deutschlandticket (Germany-wide public transport pass).
