About the role

  • Advising and supporting the HR departments of the Fraunhofer institutes on collective bargaining and employment law matters as well as on personnel administration topics
  • Ensuring the high quality of the institutes' personnel measures and taking responsibility for the approval of personnel actions
  • Participating in projects to implement personnel-related, collective bargaining and employment law changes and updates
  • Training HR staff of the institutes online, on-site and in workshops on collective bargaining and employment law topics

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Human Resources
  • Relevant professional experience in HR within the public sector and/or a research institution, including advising HR managers on collective bargaining law, employment law and HR-related issues
  • Ability to work both conceptually and as part of project teams
  • Confident use of modern IT environments, preferably with SAP
  • Independent and highly meticulous working style
  • Willingness to travel for one to two days on business (approximately three times per year)
