About the role
- Support all legal matters at the institute.
- Review and process proposals to industrial clients in research and development projects.
- Communicate with contractual partners and conduct negotiations.
- Draft and review nondisclosure agreements (NDAs).
- Respond to general legal questions (e.g., public procurement or warranty law).
- Act as a liaison to central legal departments and collaborate closely with colleagues there.
- Responsible for data protection and implementing related requirements at the institute.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in law or a related legal field (e.g., business law).
- Knowledge of general and specific aspects of the law of obligations/contract law.
- Familiarity with data protection and/or public procurement law is an advantage.
- Interest in administrative law issues is welcome.
- Knowledge of intellectual property law is also appreciated.
- Proficient in common Microsoft Office applications.
- Ideally some initial experience with SAP.
- English language skills required for international collaboration.
