About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for the Microsoft 365 Purview Compliance Portal
  • Manage permissions in the Microsoft Purview Compliance Portal based on access request workflows
  • Manage corporate retention policies and data lifecycle management
  • Support eDiscovery cases and surveillance policies, including eDiscovery and Communication Compliance
  • Support data archiving connectors, including third-party connectors, into Office 365
  • Design, document, and execute change requests for the Microsoft Purview Compliance Portal
  • Monitor and report on data quality and service resiliency
  • Design processes and develop automation improvements
  • Work with vendors to resolve stakeholder issues involving compliance tools
  • Maintain Microsoft 365 Compliance licensing
  • Provide ongoing support for enterprise compliance archiving infrastructure
  • Manage multiple activities in a fast-paced environment
  • Apply advanced subject matter expertise to complex issues and projects

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Information Systems, or an equivalent combination of education, certification, and experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Microsoft 365 Purview
  • 3+ years of industry experience working with financial institutions and communications-retention regulatory requirements
  • Experience supporting and configuring the Microsoft 365 Purview Compliance Center
  • Experience with PowerShell, Azure Automation Runbook, Logic App, or similar scripting languages
  • Experience with at least one major financial-services regulatory data archive vendor
  • Proficiency with Outlook/Exchange Online, SharePoint, Microsoft 365 Purview Compliance Portal, Microsoft Teams, ServiceNow, and database functionality/concepts
  • General understanding of FINRA regulations and compliance
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and technical aptitude
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage several tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively
  • Effective partnership and collaboration skills
  • Good documentation skills using PowerPoint, Confluence, Microsoft Visio, and other documentation tools
  • Strong interpersonal skills, positive work ethic, and exceptional attention to detail
