About the role

  • Lead and coach an offshore team responsible for tactical procurement execution
  • Oversee supplier onboarding, catalog enablement, and tactical sourcing activities
  • Manage purchase order processing and invoice exception resolution
  • Handle tactical contract management and ensure compliance with policies
  • Run RFQs/RFPs and make award recommendations for low-to-mid complexity spend
  • Set performance expectations, SLAs (Service Level Agreements), and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)
  • Drive standardization, process discipline, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Analyze procurement data and report KPIs to senior management for strategy development
  • Lead initiatives to improve customer experience, automation, and Procure-to-Pay adoption
  • Act as escalation point for procurement, supplier, and stakeholder issues
  • Collaborate with Legal, Risk, AP (Accounts Payable), and Compliance to resolve onboarding blockers
  • Partner with business stakeholders to set expectations and drive value
  • Manage supplier relationships at an operational level to ensure performance

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field, or combination of education and work experience
  • 7+ years’ procurement industry experience
  • Microsoft Office (advanced Excel with macros and PowerPoint skills), SharePoint
  • Experience with procurement concepts, processes, systems, tools
  • Experience in strategic sourcing (RFIs/RFPs) and contract review and negotiation
  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects independently and as part of a team
  • Works independently, requires minimal guidance
  • Proven people leadership and management skills
  • Results driven with attention to detail and ability to move quickly while staying organized
  • Strong research, problem solving, and communication skills (verbal and written)
