Guide new product development and sustain existing offerings through management of third-party certifications (e.g., UL, CSA)
Interact with certifying agencies to initiate and complete certification projects
Monitor agency standards activity for changes and initiate product or certification updates to maintain compliance
Manage programs for in-house agency certification testing and conduct internal audits to ensure compliance
Participate in Product Development Process as Project Team Support Member to identify and interpret certification requirements and plan/execute agency certification tasks
Develop certification test plans, oversee in-house certification tests, write test requests, and review other engineers' test plans
Evaluate certification test results, compare results to standards, and explain findings
Lead certification testing and audits and influence product market readiness and global compliance

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field (required)
Ten or more years of relevant product certification experience
Pump, motor, or appliance industry certifications (desirable)
