About the role
- Responsible for evaluating the credit risk for all customers, the establishment of credit conditions, and analysis of overall exposure
- Manage orders on hold and customer accounts reaching or exceeding their credit limit
- Perform debt collection activities and execute strategies to recover unpaid amounts
- Coordinate reactive and proactive credit control and identify root causes impacting the debt collection process
- Escalate issues as needed and execute recovery strategies
- Perform administrative and analytical assignments
- Report to Joy Conrad
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, finance, or a related field (Required)
- 0-3 years of experience in credit & collections, accounting, or a related field (Required)
- Must have a customer service focus that builds and enhances positive relationships within the organization and with external parties
- Ability to deal with conflict effectively and be able to challenge the business when necessary
- Understands basic accounting and mathematical concepts and is able to perform related analyses, including financial statement analysis
- Hard-working, results-oriented, and competitive mindset
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and ensure projects meet regulations and expectations
- Effective communication skills to interpret information and communicate results and recommendations
- Collaborative and able to build cross-functional relationships
