About the role

  • Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for the plant
  • Partner with Operations and Supply Chain to analyze budgets, performance, and improvement opportunities
  • Lead cost analysis across Cost of Goods Manufactured, overhead, scrap, write-offs, and other key cost drivers
  • Track actuals vs. standards, explain variances, and support corrective actions
  • Complete month-end close activities, including account analysis, reconciliations and inventory valuation
  • Monitor inventory performance, turnover, impairments, and actions on slow-moving or obsolete stock
  • Deliver clear, timely financial reports and insights to plant leadership
  • Coordinate financial cut-off processes and ensure robust internal controls
  • Track and report Operations KPIs through group reporting systems
  • Support savings initiatives, CapEx requests, and business case development
  • Present financial results in monthly reviews and lead budget discussions with cost center or department managers
  • Manage improvement projects focused on financial KPIs and operational efficiency
  • Participate in process audits and recommend enhancements
  • Proactively identify and validate cost-saving opportunities.

Requirements

  • A finance professional with a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting, Business, or a related field (a Master’s degree in Business or Supply Chain is an advantage)
  • A minimum 5 years` experience in Plant Controlling within a manufacturing environment
  • A proactive, analytical mindset with the ability to drive financial and operational efficiency
  • Strong expertise in cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis in a production setting
  • Hands-on, detail-oriented working style, with confidence in handling large data sets and performing financial modeling
  • Solid experience with SAP/S4HANA
  • A strategic thinker capable of providing insights and recommendations to optimize operations and support continued improvement
  • An effective communicator who collaborates well with cross-functional teams, including operations, supply chain, and leadership
  • A self-driven professional who takes initiative, embraces new challenges, and contributes to business growth.
