About the role
- Oversee the strategic direction for engineering, operations, and IAM programs, ensuring cohesive multi‑year roadmaps across all teams.
- Partner with the CISO to align departmental strategies, budgets, technology acquisitions, and staffing with business needs.
- Guide managers in developing departmental roadmaps and ensuring consistency with enterprise architecture and governance.
- Facilitate alignment across engineering, operations, and IAM to ensure seamless integration of controls, processes, and technologies.
- Review and approve recommendations for security technologies, tools, and methodologies.
- Serve as an escalation point during security incidents or IAM challenges.
- Oversee creation and publication of policies, standards, and guidelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree Information Security, Information Systems, MBA, or other related field - Required
- OR- 10 years' experience in lieu of degree - Required
- 8 years progressive leadership experience across security domains - Required
- 5 years Healthcare industry experience - Preferred
- CISSP, CISM, CISA, GIAC or comparable certifications obtained within 1 year of hire - Required
