About the role
- Plan, manage and direct the coordination of radiation oncology care
- Provide accurate radiation treatment to patients as prescribed by the radiation oncologist
- Develop positive, trusting, caring and professional relationships with patients
- Prepare and set up equipment to ensure immobilization, protection, and precise treatment
- Observe the patient’s progress throughout the course of radiation treatment
Requirements
- Required within 90 days Registered Radiation Therapist (ARRT-RTT) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Required within 90 days State License
- Required within 90 days Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association
- Preferred Bachelor's Degree Radiation Therapy
