About the role
- Deal support to the team leader
- Financial and exit modelling
- Assisting in pitching for business development
- Contact/liaison point for CEO/CFO, lawyers, banks and private equity houses
- Project management
Requirements
- Graduating or graduated within the last year with a quantitative academic degree achieving a 2:1 (or equivalent) and above
- Post-graduate degree (e.g. MSc, MBA)
- Demonstrate strong quantitative fundamentals, such as achieved an “A” in A level Mathematics
- Evidence of relevant work experience or internships in finance/transaction services.
- Client facing – positive attitude and work ethic
- Personal effectiveness (i.e. influencing, managing change, resilience, initiative, adaptability, energy, integrity, analysing and solving problems, teamwork, communication – written and oral)
- Willingness to learn
- Enjoys working in a close knit and at times high pressure environment
- Business development
- Financial modelling and strong familiarity with Excel best practice
- Communication skills – written and oral
- Negotiating skills
