About the role
- Own and operate enterprise SQL Server environments across production and non-production tiers
- Standardize and automate database operational workflows
- Diagnose and resolve complex SQL Server performance issues
- Analyze and tune slow-running queries and reports
- Provide on-call and incident response support for mission-critical database systems
- Support migrations off legacy SQL Server versions
- Develop and maintain standardized SQL Server configuration templates
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience administering and supporting SQL Server environments
- Strong expertise in T-SQL, SQL Server performance tuning, and troubleshooting
- Hands-on experience with automation and scripting for database operations
- Experience supporting reporting and analytics workloads
- Strong understanding of SQL Server architecture, indexing, and security.
