About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide legal advice and prepare opinions on labor rights, obligations, and applicable legislation.
Represent clients in labor lawsuits (claims and defenses) at all levels of the Labor Court.
Participate in hearings and deliver oral arguments.
Represent clients in administrative proceedings before the Ministry of Labor and the Public Labor Prosecutor's Office (Ministério Público do Trabalho).
Negotiate and mediate judicial and extrajudicial settlements.
Conduct audits to ensure compliance with labor legislation and prevent risks.
Draft employment contracts, amendments and internal policies.
Provide training on labor law to teams and managers.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Law degree and active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB).
Deep knowledge of labor legislation (Brazilian Labor Code - CLT, súmulas, OJ's, and relevant case law).
Experience in labor litigation in judicial and administrative forums.
Ability to draft procedural documents, legal opinions, and contracts.
Negotiation and mediation skills for conflict resolution.
Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills for appearances in hearings.
Organized and detail-oriented for case and deadline management.
Proactive and able to work collaboratively in a team.
