About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide L2/L3 production support for SAP BW/BW on HANA/BW/4HANA environments.
- Monitor and resolve issues related to Process Chains, Data Loads, DTPs, Info Packages, and data extraction.
- Perform root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions.
- Support incident, problem, change, and release management activities.
- Monitor BW job performance and optimize data loading processes.
- Coordinate transports across Development, QA, and Production environments.
- Develop and maintain the end-to-end flow in the BW system.
- Perform performance tuning of BW objects and queries.
- Perform comprehensive inventory of SAP BW landscapes.
- Prepare technical documentation and knowledge transfer materials.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong experience in SAP BW production support and enhancement activities.
- Experience in BW inventory assessment, system documentation, or modernization projects is highly desirable.
- Exposure to BW migration or BW exit initiatives is an added advantage.
- Ability to understand complex BW landscapes and business processes.
- Experience working in global support environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
