About the role

  • Responsible for maintenance, consolidation and quality assurance of technical master data in ERP, PDM and CAD (e.g., equipment, valves and fittings, pipe classes, cable trays, materials)
  • Coordination of interfaces between CAD/PDM/ERP systems
  • Definition of master data processes (naming, cataloging, numbering)
  • Development, maintenance and harmonization of technical standards and guidelines (e.g., piping standards, material standards, etc.)
  • Ensuring compliance with DIN/ISO/EN/IMO and classification society regulations
  • Training employees on standards, tools and data management
  • Creation and maintenance of work instructions, policies, etc.
  • Supporting engineering in the selection of standard parts (master items)
  • Active communication with Purchasing, Engineering, Production, Quality and Suppliers

Requirements

  • Degree in a technical or scientific discipline, or equivalent
  • Strong domain-specific and cross-disciplinary knowledge, ideally in ship machinery/marine engineering
  • Good CAD skills, and solid knowledge of Word, Excel (Power Query) and basic SQL
  • High accuracy and attention to detail when working with data
  • Good technical English skills, both written and spoken
  • Independent and structured working style, plus ability to work in a team
