About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide practical, business-oriented legal support across the Europe, Middle East, and Africa region.
  • Partner closely with commercial, product, engineering, privacy, security, HR, and regional leadership teams to support business growth while helping manage legal, regulatory, and operational risk.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of technology and SaaS-related commercial agreements.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate legal and contractual risk while helping the business move efficiently and responsibly.
  • Advise on data protection and privacy matters, including GDPR and related EMEA privacy requirements.
  • Support product, engineering, security, and compliance teams on legal considerations related to new features, APIs, integrations, AI-driven functionality, and product launches.
  • Improve legal processes through the development of templates, playbooks, clause libraries, workflows, and scalable contracting solutions.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Qualified lawyer in a European jurisdiction.
  • Approximately 5–10 years of legal experience, ideally within technology, SaaS, commercial law, or a combination of in-house and private practice environments.
  • Strong experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements, including SaaS, technology, data protection, and partner/reseller contracts.
  • Solid working knowledge of GDPR and privacy requirements across EMEA.
  • Experience advising business teams on commercial, regulatory, and risk-related matters in a multinational environment.
  • Ability to provide clear, practical, business-oriented legal advice to non-legal stakeholders.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust across sales, product, engineering, security, HR, finance, and leadership teams.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth, global organization.
  • Strong judgment, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Germany.
