About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Maintain coolant recovery system, Smart skim
- Monitor coolant percentages in smart skim/CNC machines
- Maintain coolant tanks and pumps on machines
- Sump and clean coolant tanks
- Maintain bag filter by cleaning and changing filter as required
- Maintain and repair chip and part conveyors
- Perform PM tasks on equipment
- Assist in additional tasks as directed by maintenance team
- Ensure that all safety requirements are always followed
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent
- 0-2 years prior experience working with, maintaining and repairing machine shop tools
- Prior experience using power and hand tools is a plus
- Mechanically inclined
- Troubleshoot and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to meet demanding deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as a team member to accomplish objectives
