Own full-cycle recruitment for high-impact roles in the news and broadcast space, including Digital Journalists, Executive Producers, Writers, and other editorial staff
Partner closely with hiring managers to understand talent needs and develop effective sourcing strategies
Source, engage, and assess candidates with strong backgrounds in News, Digital and Broadcast Media
Drive a streamlined and high-touch experience for all candidates throughout the process
Maintain accurate documentation, pipelines, and reporting using Workday and other sourcing tools
Provide thoughtful and strategic counsel to hiring managers on market dynamics, talent availability, and competitive compensation
Requirements
3–5+ years of experience in recruitment, with a strong emphasis on hiring for news, media, and editorial roles
Experience with Workday ATS
Prior experience hiring for roles in broadcast journalism, including field producers, line producers, editorial leadership, etc
Comfortable in a deadline-driven, fast-moving environment that demands adaptability and urgency
Strong command of recruiting systems and workflows, particularly Workday and LinkedIn Recruiter
Ability to work independently, manage multiple reqs, and thrive in a fast-moving environment
Exceptional communication skills, stakeholder management, and attention to detail
