About the role
- Promoting and upholding the Fox Purpose, Mission, Vision, and Values
- Providing Tier 1 support to ensure system availability and stability, resolving issues escalated from the IT Support Team
- Analyzing business processes and system requirements, translating business needs to technical solutions
- Assessing applications to identify improvement opportunities that enhance efficiency and reduce operational cost
- Collaborating with broader IT team to recommend and implement technology solutions, optimizing efficiency and operational costs
- Partnering with leadership to recommend solution designs using existing and new technologies in alignment with the company vision
- Analyzing data to identify patterns and solutions to root causes of problems
- Balancing multiple deadlines and prioritizing key deliverables
- Participating in implementation projects in an agile, highly collaborative manner, meeting deadlines while maintaining quality
- Supporting testing and facilitating communication to stakeholders
- Deploying test scripts to refine and maintain software
- Documenting specifications and mapping requirements for workflows, reports, data, and system integrations
- Creating technical documentation to support system configuration and standard operating procedures
- Assisting in preparation of end-user documentation and participating in training as needed
Requirements
- Minimum: Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems (or a degree that requires critical thinking/equivalent experience with common applications), with one to three years of experience of analyst work.
- Preferred: Three to five years of experience in Information Technology with a portion of time focused on business application processes in the financial services industry
- Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions is required
- Experience supporting and troubleshooting applications is required
- Operational knowledge of and experience with operating systems or common applications upon which applications run, such as Windows, Apple, iOS, Android, Internet Explorer, Edge, Chrome, FireFox, Safari
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), core processing systems and integration
- Experience working in an ITIL-based tracking solution is a plus
- Knowledge of core banking processes supporting lending, deposits, and payments is a plus
- Ability to work independently, participating in multiple projects at the same time, while meeting timelines is required
- Proven ability to provide efficient and professional response to users at all levels of the organization within tight deadlines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
