About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead, coach, and develop Software Delivery Managers and their teams
Set clear expectations for engineering delivery, quality, communication, and accountability
Partner with Product and Architecture to align priorities, manage risks, and support delivery commitments
Act as a senior escalation point for delivery challenges, dependencies, and organisational blockers
Promote practical adoption of AI tools and modern engineering practices across teams
Represent Sofia Engineering in senior stakeholder discussions and translate strategy into clear execution

Requirements

What you’ll need

10+ years of experience across software engineering and engineering management
At least 3 years in a senior engineering leadership role, including direct management of engineering managers
Experience in a product-led SaaS or cloud-based software environment is strongly preferred
Strong understanding of modern engineering practices, delivery models, and quality standards
Fluent English, both written and spoken
