About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • You will build the dealflow engine for our Impact Accelerator.
  • Using AI support, a strong startup instinct and an eye for promising founding teams, you will automate and structure our processes.
  • You identify outstanding startups in rural areas, beyond the usual platforms.
  • You leverage LinkedIn, local networks, universities, funding programs and events for scouting.
  • You analyze and evaluate suitable startups against our program criteria.
  • You actively contribute to developing automated scouting and screening processes.
  • You use AI (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT) to make research, analysis and pre-qualification more efficient.
  • You are Founders Bay’s first point of contact for many founders.
  • You maintain and deepen relationships with founder communities and regional partners.
  • You pre-screen and prioritize incoming applications according to clear criteria.
  • You diligently maintain and organize application intake in our CRM.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A completed Bachelor's degree (or equivalent).
  • Initial professional experience in a startup or in environments such as strategy consulting, venture capital, corporate M&A or a comparable role.
  • Enthusiasm for tools like Claude, ClickUp, Notion and Slack, and initial exposure to automation tools.
  • You think in structures: efficient, clean processes and an organized working style are important to you.
  • Genuine interest in people and no hesitation with proactive outreach (cold outreach).
  • Ability to work independently and results-oriented in a remote setup, and a strong passion for impact topics.
