About the role
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clinical trial patients and families, providing guidance, education, and ongoing support
- Introduce patients to available programs, services and resources.
- Help navigate the care continuum
- Assess patient and family needs, identify potential barriers, coordinate solutions to support treatment adherence
- Act as a liaison between research, clinical teams, and support departments to improve the overall care experience
- Provide proactive follow-up, including post-treatment check-ins and appointment reminders for at-risk patients.
- Assist with scheduling coordination and ensure efficient, patient-centered care planning
- Document patient interactions and maintain accurate records
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5 years or more of experience working in a hospital/healthcare setting and interacting collaboratively with medical teams
- Strong customer service skills
- Demonstrate skills in written and verbal communication including good phone etiquette
- Good problem solving skills
- Display sensitivity to patient care, privacy and cultural needs.
- Master's Degree in Health or Health-related field (preferred)
- Knowledge of oncology healthcare and psychosocial needs (preferred)
- Previous grant and/or clinical trial experience (preferred)
