About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead financial forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning while developing robust sales and revenue models.
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including AP, AR, payroll, and cash flow management.
- Own monthly board packs and financial reporting, translating data into actionable recommendations for the leadership team.
- Partner with the CEO in board and investor interactions, providing clear financial narrative and insight.
- Evolve our finance tech stack by selecting and implementing modern, scalable systems.
- Build visibility into core financial metrics, including unit economics, margins, and department-level budgeting.
- Establish financial controls, risk management frameworks, and audit readiness as the company scales.
- Drive capital allocation decisions to balance growth, efficiency, and runway.
- Support strategic initiatives such as partnerships, acquisitions, or new market entry through financial evaluation.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience in a high-growth startup or scale-up environment (ideally Series A to C)
- Experience with managing the finances in multinational organisations
- A strong grasp of US GAAP, revenue recognition, and modern finance tools.
- Ability to act as a commercial partner to the CEO, owning financial inputs into pricing, deal structuring, and revenue strategy, expansion, and fundraising strategy.
- Strategic, proactive, and deeply analytical mindset.
- Experience with Quickbooks online
