About the role
- Provide overall direction, support, and subject matter expertise for registered apprenticeship technical assistance in assigned regional consortium
- Spearhead registered apprenticeship technical assistance efforts within assigned region focused on community college ecosystem
- Develop operational frameworks and workflow management strategies to optimize resources and scalability
- Serve as subject matter expert on apprenticeship models and integrate education-to-work best practices
- Lead technical assistance services from design through implementation and manage grant/contract budgeting for the region
- Develop and manage regional consortium deliverables (monthly webinars, weekly team check-ins, data collection and analysis, grantee guidance, online community of practice, grant reporting)
- Manage partnerships with state, county, and city agencies and other stakeholders for systems alignment
- Design and execute educational-to-workforce integration and align programs with DAS, Department of Labor, and regulatory requirements
- Represent apprenticeship programs at external conferences, industry forums, and public meetings
- Serve as central liaison among consortium stakeholders and expand employer partnerships
- Collaborate with LAUNCH leadership, provide direction and mentorship to team, and oversee team environment and performance
- Track and analyze program data, create systems for sustainability, and engage in proactive risk management
- Undertake special projects and tasks aligned with LAUNCH’s mission and strategic objectives
Requirements
- Must reside in California (Hybrid within the Bay Area)
- Experience managing personnel and building high-performing teams
- Experience and ability to develop and implement strategic plans
- Experience implementing processes and management approaches demonstrating commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion
- Experience in state and/or federal grant management including budget management, allocation, and deliverable completion
- Excellent project management, group facilitation, and technical skills
- Demonstrated ability to research, analyze, synthesize, and communicate complex topics to varied audiences and formats
- Ability to manage multiple projects and clients with competing interests
- Exceptional ability to build and maintain collaborative working relationships with stakeholders
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter, quick learner, problem solver, highly motivated
- Ability to exercise good judgment and escalate critical issues
- Ability to work remotely and navigate Zoom, Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Outlook), Salesforce Lightning, Google Suite, and other database programs
- Subject matter expertise on apprenticeship models (OJT, Paid Work Experience, Paid Internships)
