About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Leads targeted outreach and engagement with Inland Empire employers across advanced manufacturing, cybersecurity, and clean economy sectors to build and expand registered apprenticeship partnerships.
- Supports the development and implementation of registered apprenticeship programs by assisting employers and partners with program design, onboarding processes, registration requirements, and alignment to California Division of Apprenticeship Standards (DAS) and U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) frameworks.
- Develops and disseminates outreach materials, presentations, and informational resources to increase employer awareness and participation in apprenticeship opportunities.
- Provides technical assistance and consultative support to employers, educational institutions, workforce boards, and community-based organizations to increase understanding and adoption of apprenticeship models and work-based learning strategies.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3 years of experience preferred in workforce development, employer engagement, education partnerships, nonprofit programs, or related field preferred
- Knowledge of workforce development systems, including registered apprenticeship models and basic understanding of DAS/DOL apprenticeship processes (or ability to quickly learn)
- Familiarity with employer engagement, outreach strategies, or partnership development within education or workforce development settings
