About the role

  • Exceed assigned revenue goals through a customer-centric sales methodology
  • Manage complex, multi-platform solution sales with a 6-to-18-month purchasing cycle
  • Maintain accurate pipeline with timely sales forecasts and sufficient documentation
  • Cultivate and maintain prospect relationships for new business and cross-selling
  • Coordinate resources to meet prospects’ research needs
  • Develop a deep understanding of government grantmaking
  • Provide feedback to marketing for improved sales tools and strategies
  • Participate in educational programs to expand expertise and personal network

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of full-time B2B or B2G sales experience (software sales experience a plus)
  • Proven track record of consistent over-quota achievement within a solutions software vendor
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills; Strong listening and presentation skills
  • Basic knowledge of ‘Software as a Service’ solutions (SaaS) preferred
  • Experience selling in the foundation/philanthropic space preferred
  • Travel required within North America
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the United States
