About the role
- Supervise the Accounts Payable function
- Manage all internal transfers of cash and the treasury fraud control function
- Complete assigned month-end and year-end close tasks
- Review reconciliations and perform month/month flux analyses
- Build and maintain balance sheet schedules
- Ensure all assigned bookings comply with U.S. GAAP
- Support all external audits
- Collaborate with Global Controller to develop and implement policies/procedures
- Oversee the implementations of Airbase and Navan across the global enterprise
- Mentor assigned accounting staff on best practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- at least 3 years in an external auditing role with a Top 20 U.S. public accounting firm
- at least 2 years in a corporate accounting role (SaaS/Technology industry preferred)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and technical accounting principles
- Experience building and maintaining Balance Sheet supporting schedules
- Preferred: Masters in Accountancy (or an MBA)
- Active CPA license
- Proficiency using NetSuite
- Proficiency using Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
