About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Be a trusted member of our team by providing advanced desktop and end-user support, ensuring seamless operations for a global team efficiently.
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktop, laptop, and peripheral hardware.
- Support operating systems (Windows, macOS) and enterprise applications.
- Collaborate with the infrastructure team to assist with server, storage, and network tasks, offering hands-on support for various projects.
- Manage device and software deployments using tools like Intune and Jamf.
- Monitor and resolve issues with end-user systems while proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Provide training and create documentation for IT tools and processes.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in a desktop support or IT engineering role.
- Proficiency in managing Windows and macOS environments.
- Familiarity with endpoint management tools such as Intune or Jamf.
- Understanding of basic networking concepts (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Exposure to infrastructure tools and environments (e.g., server management, virtualization), preferred.
- Scripting knowledge (i.e. PowerShell) for automation tasks, preferred.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, ITIL, or Microsoft certifications, preferred.
