About the role

  • Support the Managers and Partners in helping financial services clients meet their local and overseas tax obligations.
  • Structure their affairs tax efficiently and apply for tax incentives where available.
  • Provide effective tax advisory and compliance services (including GST) to corporate clients in the financial services industry.
  • Foster strong relationships with relevant client contacts and provide independent advice.
  • Manage a team of staff and take on a proactive role in identifying new business opportunities.
  • Ensure timely completion of tax work and support the Manager/Partner in delivering high-quality tax services.
  • Oversee the compliance management process and adapt to challenges in the process.
  • Participate in managing a compliance group by assisting with forecasting future compliance work, delegating work effectively, coaching, training and resolving staffing issues.
  • Share knowledge to develop professionally and enhance service delivery.

Requirements

  • Degree in Accountancy/ Finance or relevant discipline, preferably with a membership with Singapore Chartered Tax Professionals (SCTP).
  • At least 4-5 years of relevant business tax experience working with clients from the financial services industry such as banking, insurance, payments, wealth or asset management, or family offices.
  • A strong understanding of Singapore’s tax policies for the wealth and asset management industry.
  • Strong leadership, project management and analytical skills.
  • Good command of spoken and written English.
  • Strong team player.
  • Motivated and looking for career growth and development.
