About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and execute social media strategies across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, X/Twitter, Facebook, YouTube).
- Create, schedule, and publish engaging daily content tailored to each platform.
- Monitor analytics to track KPIs for performance, engagement, and growth.
- Engage with followers, respond to comments/messages, and foster a sense of community.
- Coordinate social campaigns around key sports events, streaming content, and breaking news.
- Stay up to date on trends in sports and digital media to keep our content fresh and relevant.
- Assist in scheduling and managing live sports streams via our platform and app.
- Collaborate with the broadcast team to ensure consistent branding and messaging across platforms.
- Produce short-form vertical videos (Reels, TikToks, Shorts) to promote stories, games, or athletes.
- Capture behind-the-scenes moments and in-game content for social audiences.
Requirements
What you’ll need- A minimum of 1–3 years of experience in social media, digital content production, or digital marketing.
- Passion for sports and strong familiarity with Midwest teams, athletes, and fan culture.
- Proficiency in tools like Adobe Premiere, Canva, Photoshop, or CapCut.
- Experience with live streaming tools and platforms is a plus.
- Excellent writing, editing and visual storytelling skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends during sports seasons.
- Current residence in and the ability to work in the greater Sioux Falls, SD metro area.
- Some travel may be required.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and a driving record that is insurable by the company.
- Must carry an acceptable level of vehicle insurance as required by the company.
